Meet the Founder
If you don't know me, l'm David Winton, the CEO of this new venture and co-founder. My younger years were spent as an electrical engineering and project management professional working on various multi-million construction and energy projects ranging from 0.5m to £120million.
Academically I hold a first class honours degree in Building Services Engineering and my dissertation was published by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.
co-founded an energy consultancy in 2014 and grew that business to 130 employees across 3 countries with a £10m turnover, achieving Investors in People, ISO 9001 and 50001 accreditations. Our strong performance was recognised when I was highly commended at the Institute of Directors Director of the Year Awards 2019. Unfortunately, as we were on the cusp of a £21m exit, a little thing called COVID came along and destroyed it. But everything happens for a reason and ultimately it's led to me being here presenting to you on something | feel will dwarf my previous business.
